As part of a scoping study conducted in 2021, over 300 civil society-led resilience initiatives including climate change projects and programmes were identified in the CARICOM region for the period 2016-2020. These spanned community to regional-level projects ranging from US$10,000 for a six-month project to US$5 million for a four-year project. Of these, 99% were projects and programmes at the community and national levels, including 60% with an adaptation component, 22% with a mitigation component, and 18% with both. Only 1% of the projects identified were regional in scope with funding from US$200,000 to US$5 million for a three-year or four-year project.
